i miss u guys!

i'm truly missing my lovely cats these days. every time i talk to my mom, she always has great stories to tell about them!
well, yesterday, my dad told me this one...

my parents recently went out to go buy a vacuum cleaner--you know those small circular ones that clean by themselves? well, those who have cats as pets should all know that they are frightened by vacuum cleaners. they always seem to run away just in time and hide out until it stops and then they slowly crawl back out from wherever they were hiding.

well my dad said that moji&maddi were not scared of this new one. maybe it was the size or that it was quiet or the combination of the two. in fact, they were so intrigued by it, they would follow it around and pounce on it even. haha
maddi would jump on top of it and sit there and it would beep because it detected a problem :)

so cute. i miss them oh so much.

it's funny how one day you'll be extremely restless and down and the next day, your spirits will be lifted.
nothing really changed except your perception.

god works in mysterious ways. and i am always thankful that he teaches me every day.
what a great teacher and perfecter!
can you imagine a teacher in this lifetime who never gives up on you and teaches you the same thing over and over again until you die? i can't even fathom such patience and wisdom.

yesterday, god was my father (who i frankly felt distant from).
today, god is my teacher (who i felt intimate with).
what will he be tomorrow? :)

i never knew how fun it could be to play the guitar and sing in a rock band haha.
AND i never knew how good rock songs could be!
all this from playing rock band for hours and not doing any of my work :(

these days, i think i've been finding a lot of relief and peace through music.
i don't think anything else could be so therapeutic. thank god for music!

i wish i could play an instrument now...
is it too late? ;)

*sigh*
